Hotpot goes down a treat 21.10.2009
Held in the stylish new Oswaldtwistle Mills Business and Conference Centre, delegates were given the chance to network as well as enjoy a traditional Lancashire hotpot lunch.
They also heard recession busting talks from Slater PR’s Managing Director Richard Slater, who spoke about how companies could maximise their press coverage, while Craig Hargreaves, from business experts Team Integra, gave advice on how to make businesses more efficient and cut costs.
Organised by Slater PR in partnership with the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Lancashire Business View and Oswaldtwistle Mills, the event was fully subscribed within just hours of being launched, and it is now planned to become a regular date for the diaries.
Richard Slater said: “It was great to see so many Lancashire businesses gathered together to meet new contacts and catch up with old ones.
“In trickier times such as these I think businesses are really seeing the importance of making good business contacts which is why we decided to introduce this new event with an informal but informative format.”
The all important hotpot was provided by the award wining Thyme at the Sirloin who specialise in bespoke event catering.
