Catherine loves Slater PR so much, she came back for another go.
Originally working with us to gain experience before and during her time studying at Leeds Uni, Catherine moved to the big city upon graduation but was back “at home” in Blackburn before too long.
Employing the experience she gained working on local and national b2b and b2c campaigns, Catherine is now the first point of contact for clients, overseeing accounts and managing long-term objectives and making sure they’re fulfilled.
Something you didn’t know about me:
I’m a vintage car enthusiast. I’ve got an original 1920s Austin 7 and compete in trials and rallies and would like to get into speed hill climbs and race.
Three things I couldn’t survive on a desert island without:
My lip balm, a bag of bread and a toaster - as I could happily live on nothing else - and my iPod.
What is your favourite type of music?
Anything from Abba to Kings of Leon. I love music. Rod Stewart is a legend and one of my favourite songs is Red Light Spells Danger by Billy Ocean.
What would your last meal be?
My mum’s roast chicken, with plenty of bread sauce. It’s amazing!
What would you do if you won the lottery?
I could buy an Aston Martin (a DB9 V8 convertible black with black and cream leather interior) and have a massive party where Rod Stewart could duet with Beyonce.
What do you never miss on TV?
Any period or costume drama - if it’s written by Jane Austen, about the Tudors or Robin Hood or set in a fictional historical time then I will love it.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
I like relaxing in nice countryside, so either France (eating pate and cheese) or the Lake District.
